To fix Azure AD Connect unavailable to validate credentials due to an unexpected error, follow the below steps:
1. Start Command Prompt as administrator.
2. Change the directory to the Microsoft Azure Active Directory Connect folder.
cd "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Azure Active Directory Connect"
3. Run the AzureADConnect.exe /InteractiveAuth command.

It will look like the below screen.
4. The Upgrade Azure Active Directory Connect window appears. Click Upgrade.
5. Fill in the Azure AD global administrator account and click Next.
6. The modern authentication window appears. Fill in the password and click Sign in.
7. Click on Upgrade to upgrade Azure Active Directory synchronization.
